Ford is pleased with its collaboration with Red Bull

In Canada, Max Verstappen took his first podium of the season, giving Ford its first podium since returning to Formula 1. Ford Performance Motorsport CEO Mark Rushbrook is pleased with the progress of the partnership with Red Bull.

Mark Rushbrook: "Max's podium was the first for Red Bull Ford Powertrains, and it's a significant moment for our collaboration. It's great to see the hard work everyone has put in to prepare for the 2026 season. This result is a well-deserved confirmation of the efforts made by both Red Bull Racing and Ford Racing. https://f1.vpesports.com/

We are currently satisfied with our current position. Red Bull Racing and Red Bull Powertrains are excellent partners, and this was evident three and a half years ago when we signed our contract.

The collaboration on the all-new power unit at Milton Keynes has been incredible, and I am very proud to have this engine in the Red Bull Racing and Racing Bulls cars. This is really a source of pride for Ford Motor Company, Ford Racing and all our employees.

We are very pleased with the collaboration with Ben Hodgkinson who is in charge of the engine division, as well as Laurent Mekis and his work with the racing team. We are satisfied with everything that is happening now in this project.

Of course, the goal is to fight for victories and titles. We would like to be higher up the peloton, but at this stage we are satisfied to be in the leading group, taking into account the potential that the team from Milton-Kins has.

In 2025, the team has already shown what it is capable of, managing to return to the title fight. Both on and off the base, everyone continues to work hard to add more. This is exactly the approach we expected from our partners – full dedication and a desire to do everything possible to reach the top. https://f1.vpesports.com/
